We recently completed work on 1 of 19 Cocktails and Raw Bar. The new bar and restaurant, located at 103 N. Maple Street in Murfreesboro, is now open.
1 of 19 is owned by Shawn and Christy Hackinson, the owners of the popular downtown Murfreesboro restaurant The Alley on Main. The Alley on Main is known for its steak, seafood, and scratch-made pasta dishes.
When the Hackinsons decided to open a cocktail bar around the corner from The Alley on Main, they knew exactly who to call.
“I don’t call around to get bids,” Shawn says. “I know the price will be fair, the work will be solid, and they will finish on time.”
Dow Smith Company Project Manager Ryan Sanford, Superintendent Zac Neely, Lead Technician A.J. Blankenship, Technicians Dillon Dupuis, Daniel Isabell, Landon McDearmon, Bardo Urdiera, Nick Wolfe, and a team of subcontractors brought the Hackinsons’ vision for a high-spirited basement bar to life.
“They do what they say,” Shawn says. “They did so much due diligence on the front end that there was not a single change order. They’re honest, upfront, and not afraid to deliver bad news. They constantly go above and beyond the scope of their jobs.”
